SkyCon Aerial Solutions is Hiring an Audio Visual Technician Near Greensboro, NC
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and maintaining audio and video equipment for various events and functions.
Duties:
- Set up and install audio visual equipment such as projectors, speakers, microphones, and video screens
- Operate soundboards and adjust audio levels during events
- Test and troubleshoot audio visual systems to ensure proper functionality
- Maintain and repair audio visual equipment as needed
- Provide technical support during events to ensure seamless audio and video transmission
- Collaborate with event organizers to understand their audio visual requirements
Requirements:
- Proficiency in using hand tools for equipment setup and maintenance
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems and protocols
- Mechanical aptitude to handle equipment installation and repairs
- Familiarity with low voltage systems for audio visual setups
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot software applications related to audio visual systems
- Understanding of computer hardware components relevant to audio visual technology
- Basic electrical knowledge for wiring and connectivity tasks
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Experience in field service for on-site troubleshooting and repairs
